Free annual picnic is open to the public
Join us as we gather to celebrate our annual community picnic and the purchase of the future home for Southern Anoka Community Assistance (SACA) in Columbia Heights at 3905 California Street NE from 11 am to 1 pm on Friday, September 8 - rain or shine!
- Picnic lunch (while supplies last)
- Live music by Small Town Radio
- Short program at 11:30 pm
- Tours of the “before” space before construction begins
- Plenty of onsite parking available
SACA and Northeast Bank have a long history of collaboration
SACA is a local nonprofit that provides food and resources to community members in need. With a Northeast Bank team member serving on the SACA board of directors, it was clear that the help SACA was providing required more space to meet growing community needs.
In response to this need, the Walter C. Rasmussen - Northeast Bank Foundation donated funds to help SACA build a new facility that will provide expanded support to neighbors in need.
